design and print your own temporary tattoos
It\'s very easy to design and print your own temporary tattoo at home! !
You don\'t need special printers to make them either.
All you need is a regular inkjet printer and a pack of temporary tattoo paper that is easy to find in most craft shops and WalmartMart.
If you use paint to make a tattoo, the steps to design it are very simple.
Before you start drawing a tattoo, we need to resize the paper so that it is printed on the 8-year-old tattoo paper. 5 x 11 inches.
After you have completed these steps, you can start drawing.
You can draw a huge tattoo, or you can put as much tattoo on paper as you can.
The only step you need to do before printing is make sure you flip all the tattoos horizontally so they don\'t flip back.
To do this: once you flip everything, the image and text move backwards. Don\'t panic!
This is what we want, so when it is printed it appears in the right way.
I prefer to do tattoos with Illustrator because they print very well and look better overall.
For this project, I downloaded a tribal icon set and some fonts from the free items section of the creative market. (
Check once a week! !
Great, free! )
Then I made three different tattoos with their pieces.
This is what I did: now that I have three tattoo pages, I can start adding content to them.
If you want to make your own icons or do a tattoo by hand, do it!
Don\'t worry if you don\'t know how to do this in illustrator, check out this video and learn something new!
If you don\'t make your own icons or draw them like I do, follow these steps: last and most important! ! !
You need to click on each design and flip it before printing so it reflects the original design.
All you have to do this is select the design and right-click.
Scroll down to the position of the transform and select reflect \".
This will allow you to flip your design so it mirrors the original design.
If you don\'t, all your designs will be backwards when you print, and your text will be backwards as well! !
Now that the design of the tattoo has been completed, it is time to install the paper and printer.
First of all, you need to figure out how the paper is printed in the printer.
Does the top of the paper in the tray remain at the top after printing, or does it switch.
To do this, you just have to write on paper and then print something so you know how the paper goes through the printer.
Once you know the way the printer prints, you need to open the tattoo paper bag.
You need to separate the green adhesive page from the sheet.
Next, put the copy paper into the printer for printing on the gloss side.
Once you do this, you can start printing your tattoo.
Once the glossy tattoo paper is printed, it\'s time to apply the adhesive.
To do this, you will want to put the printed sheets on the table and have your bone folder or popsicle ready. Congrats! ! !
You have finished printing and apply the adhesive to your own temporary tattoo! !
Now go find some people who are willing to apply!
Tattoos are very easy, just like regular temporary tattoos.
Just cut around the design you want to apply and peel off the adhesive.
Press the sticky side down on the skin.
Then apply water and pressure to the back of the tattoo with a wet towel.
Apply pressure for 30 seconds and slowly raise a corner to see if the tattoo has been transferred to the skin.
If not, continue to use water and pressure before there is no.
Once the tattoo is transferred, pull the paper down and enjoy it! !
